Marketing and Social Media Content Specialist
Location: Remote (US time zones)
Experience: 7+ years
Hours Per Week Available: 25 -35 hours per week. This role will start as a contract with the intention of going full-time in the near future.
Compensation: $50 - $65/hour

They’re looking for a visionary Marketing and Social Media Specialist to build their brand presence and drive user acquisition through compelling, AI-enhanced content. You'll create viral social content, write technical blog posts, produce educational webinars, and develop marketing campaigns that showcase the power of their AI platform to developers and business users.
What You'll Create
Social Media & Community
Produce viral social content (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that drives engagement
Create AI-generated visuals, videos, and interactive content using cutting-edge tools
Build and nurture developer communities on Discord, Reddit, and specialized forums
Live-tweet conferences, product launches, and industry events with real-time engagement
Educational Content & Thought Leadership
Write in-depth technical blog posts about AI trends, tutorials, and use cases (2-3/week)
Produce weekly webinars and demos showcasing product capabilities and best practices
Create comprehensive guides, whitepapers, and case studies for different user segments
Develop video content including product tutorials, customer stories, and behind-the-scenes content
Campaign Development & Execution
Launch integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels with clear ROI metrics
Collaborate with product and sales teams to create compelling product marketing materials
Design and execute influencer partnerships with AI researchers and industry leaders
Create email marketing sequences that convert trial users to paid customers
Requirements
Content Creation Expertise
7+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or developer advocacy
Proven track record of creating viral content and building engaged online communities
Expert knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and growth strategies
Experience with AI content creation tools (Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT, Claude)
Technical Marketing Skills
Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Experience marketing to developers, data scientists, or technical decision makers
Proficiency with marketing tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and ability to create accurate technical content
Creative & Analytical Balance
Strong writing skills with ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences
Data-driven approach to content optimization and campaign performance analysis
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to identify emerging trends and opportunities
Project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously

Comfort with rapid iteration, experimentation, and learning from failures
Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and take ownership
Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams (product, sales, design)
Growth mindset and excitement about scaling marketing efforts 10x
Preferred Experience
Experience at AI/ML companies or creating content about emerging technologies
Background in developer relations, technical writing, or B2B SaaS marketing
Video production and editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
Public speaking experience and comfort presenting to large audiences
Previous startup experience, especially early-stage (seed to Series B) companies
