About Us

Chainway Labs is seeking a Content Strategist to join our team at Citrea, Bitcoin’s First ZK Rollup.

At Citrea, our goal is to secure on-chain finance with Bitcoin. We believe that Bitcoin and its values should be scaled to serve as the standard for decentralized finance. Achieving this vision requires scaling Bitcoin with zero-knowledge proofs, ensuring on-chain verifiability and data availability within the Bitcoin network.

This approach makes Citrea the first scaling solution to enable more complex applications without compromising Bitcoin security and changing its consensus rules.

The Role

We’re looking for a PR specialist with strong connections to Tier 1 crypto media outlets and industry thought leaders. This is a minimum 4-month contract position focused on raising awareness of Citrea’s unique value proposition and building media momentum ahead of our mainnet launch. 

In this role, you will work closely with Citrea’s marketing team to craft and execute a strong media strategy focused on expanding Citrea brand awareness and executive thought leadership that champion our core messaging and positioning. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring Citrea becomes a widely recognized name in the Bitcoin and broader crypto industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic PR approach to position Citrea effectively in the media.
• Secure high-profile media coverage about Citrea’s technology and value proposition across leading crypto and tech platforms to champion our company’s narrative.
• Arrange speaking opportunities (keynotes, panel discussions, podcasts) for Citrea’s team at major industry events.
• Facilitate public discussions such as Twitter spaces, podcasts and joined articles between Citrea’s founders and influential figures across ecosystems that distribute our key messaging and product differentiators to core audiences ranging from developers to institutions.
• Help Citrea team build meaningful connections with high profile reporters.
• Ensure effective press releases and PR coordinations for Citrea’s milestones.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in helping crypto startups gain media visibility
• Strong connections with top-tier crypto media outlets and thought leaders
• Strong understanding of vision of blockchains and Bitcoin
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Bitcoin media
