Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing

So What's the Job? 

• Multi-brand lifecycle strategy: Define and execute segmented customer journeys across brands, product lines, and buyer personas (e.g., career switchers, upskillers).
• Team leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Email Marketing Specialists, setting clear priorities, ensuring flawless execution, and fostering professional development.
• Automation & personalization: Own the email/SMS/CRM automation roadmap (HubSpot or similar), building nurture, onboarding, retention, upsell, and reactivation campaigns that reduce friction and increase speed-to-purchase.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, and Student Support to align lifecycle campaigns with revenue, retention, and customer success goals.
• Testing & optimization: Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests on content, offers, and timing to improve funnel performance, while driving a test-and-learn culture.
• Data-driven insights: Define KPIs, monitor lead stages, and analyze performance to uncover scalable growth levers, improve engagement, and maximize LTV.
• Customer-first mindset: Champion the voice of the customer to ensure communications deliver value, build trust, and strengthen relationships.
• Cross-brand coordination: Share best practices, frameworks, and efficiencies across multiple brand teams while maintaining tailored journeys for each audience.
• Content & campaign execution: Partner with design and content teams to create on-brand ads, landing pages, email templates, SMS campaigns, and more.

What is ISSA looking for?

• 6–10 years in lifecycle, retention, CRM, or email marketing, preferably in education, DTC, or subscription businesses.
• 2+ years of people management experience with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
• Strong expertise with HubSpot, Marketo, or similar ESP/CRM platforms (certifications a plus).
• Experience building segmentation frameworks, automated journeys, and personalized campaigns at scale.
• Proficiency with A/B testing, reporting, and translating data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of email/SMS compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
• Excellent copywriting and/or creative skills, with an eye for engaging health and wellness audiences.
• Strong communication and project management skills, comfortable working cross-functionally.
• Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals is a plus!
